The honest version

Why a good electrolyte was so hard to get here.

The shelves are sugar, the good imports are salt bombs at import prices. None of that was your fault. Here is the trade you have been making.

01
The shelf

Everything in the chiller is basically a soft drink.

Around 80mg of sodium and a lot of sugar, engineered to taste like a treat. Fine as a treat. Not what your body loses sweating through a tropical day.

What ELT doesZero sugar, real citrus, and the minerals you actually sweat out.
02
The dose

This heat does not need a salt bomb.

The imported sticks were built for colder climates. A 1,000mg salt dose is for hard efforts, not a drink you reach for every hot day. It needs the right amount, often.

What ELT does600mg sodium. Enough to put back what a hot day takes, dosed for drinking daily in this climate.
03
The price

A real electrolyte should not need a passport.

RM11 to RM14 a stick for the good imported ones is a RM300-plus monthly habit. Most people quit on the price long before the product.

What ELT doesAbout RM5 a sachet. Same job. A price you can keep up without thinking about it.
What goes back in

The numbers don't hide.

The usual isotonic can carries about 80mg of sodium and a lot of sugar. Some imported sticks pack 1,000mg into one dose, built for a colder climate. The sensible number for daily life in this heat sits in the middle, and that is exactly where we put it.

One sachet of ELT is...

The same maths you already do in your head at the till, written down.

A pyramid of six plain unbranded silver drink cans with condensation
A six-pack
of shelf isotonic

One sachet carries more sodium than six of the usual cans (about 80mg each). Without the sugar that comes with them.

Five empty teaspoons in a row with a small pile of sugar beside them
0 tsp
of sugar

The sweet stuff on the shelf carries plenty. ELT carries none.

Halved oranges and lemons with a calamansi and a curl of orange zest
29%
real citrus fruit

Not a pinch of citric acid pretending to be a lemon.

doing an RM14 job

The imported stick costs RM11 to RM14 by the time it lands here. Same job, local price.

What people tell us it feels like.

Extreme close-up of an ice-cold glass of honey-lemon ELT mid-stir with an orange wheel
IN 15–30 MINUTES

The drink lands.

Cold, citrus, salty-sweet. The heavy-heat thirst settles instead of nagging at you through the afternoon.

Everyday carry flatlay with keys, phone and water bottle, two ELT sachets tucked among them
DAY 1–7

Hot days feel more manageable.

Less of the wrung-out feeling after a commute, a game, or an afternoon outside. You notice you are reaching for it on purpose.

Seven torn-open ELT sachets in a neat row like a habit tracker, one intact sachet at the end
DAY 14+

It is a habit now.

The sachet goes in the bag like your keys. Heavy-sweat days stop dictating your energy.

Everyone sweats differently. Consistency matters more than any single sachet.

Yuli and Shyanne, the founders of ELT, who moved to Malaysia and built the electrolyte they could not buy here
From the two of us

We moved here, the heat floored us, and the shelf let us down.

We are Yuli and Shyanne. We came to Malaysia excited, and the heat had other plans. Every electrolyte in the shop was sugar water, and the good ones had to be flown in at RM11 to RM14 a serving by the time customs was done.

So we made the one we kept looking for and could not find: US-formulated, real citrus fruit, zero sugar, dosed for how you actually sweat here, and priced like something you can drink every day.

Made for Malaysia. We've got you.

Questions people actually ask.

How is this different from the imported sticks?

Same idea, dosed differently. The big imported salt sticks carry up to 1,000mg of sodium, built for hard efforts in cooler climates. ELT carries 600mg, calibrated for daily life in this heat, with real citrus fruit instead of mostly citric acid, and at about a third of the price.

Why is it so much cheaper than what I flew in?

No customs, no air freight, no middle-man importer. We make it for this market and ship it from KL. You are paying for the formula and the fruit, not for the journey.

Is it made in Malaysia?

It is made for Malaysia. ELT is US-formulated and produced in a GMP certified facility to HACCP and ISO standards, then MOH licensed for sale here. The intention and the dose are built for this climate. The manufacturing is to Western standards.

What exactly is in it?

Salt (sodium chloride), citrus fruit powder (29%), natural flavors, potassium citrate, citric acid, magnesium chloride, stevia leaf extract. No sugar, no artificial sweeteners, no artificial flavoring, no coloring. The full panel is printed on every sachet.

Is it halal?

Halal-certified ingredients in a halal-certified facility. MOH licensed. US-formulated and made in a GMP certified facility to HACCP and ISO standards.

How do I take it?

Mix one sachet into 500 to 1,000ml of cold water, to taste. Up to 1 to 2 sachets a day depending on how much you sweat. On a hot or active day, before and after works well.

When should I skip it?

On cool, low-sweat days, plain water is probably fine. We would rather you skip ELT on the days you do not need it and reach for it on the days this heat earns it.
