If you moved here from somewhere with a proper electrolyte aisle, you already know the drill. The shelves are sugar, the good stuff is not sold here, and keeping it shipped in quietly costs a fortune. None of that was your fault. Here is the trade you have been making, and what finally changed.
Everything in the chiller is basically a soft drink.
Walk into any convenience store here and it is wall to wall sweet isotonics. Around 80mg of sodium, a lot of sugar, engineered to taste like a treat. Fine as a treat. Not what your body actually loses sweating through a tropical day.
The good ones were never sold here.
So you did what every expat does. Flew them in by the box. Asked friends to pack a few. Rationed the last sticks like medicine until the next trip home. A real electrolyte should not need a passport.
The imported sticks were built for a colder climate.
Those big 1,000mg salt sticks were designed for hard efforts in cooler places, taken now and then. A lot of salt for a drink you reach for every hot day. This heat does not need a salt bomb. It needs the right amount, often.
And it added up faster than you admitted.
RM11 to RM14 a stick, every day, is a RM300-plus a month habit you stopped doing the maths on. The product was never the problem. Keeping it up was.
You were never the problem. The options were. So we made the one we could not buy here.
We moved here, the heat floored us, and the shelf let us down.

The daily routine
One sachet in 500 to 1,000ml of cold water on a hot or active day. Most people drink one a day in this climate, more on heavy-sweat days. Mix it the moment you feel the heat, not after you are already wiped out.
How is this different from the imported sticks?
Same idea, dosed differently. The big imported salt sticks carry up to 1,000mg of sodium, built for hard efforts in cooler climates. ELT carries 600mg, calibrated for daily life in this heat, with real citrus fruit instead of mostly citric acid, and at about a third of the price.
Why is it so much cheaper than what I flew in?
No customs, no air freight, no middle-man importer. We make it for this market and ship it from KL. You are paying for the formula and the fruit, not for the journey.
Is it made in Malaysia?
It is made for Malaysia. ELT is US-formulated and produced in a GMP certified facility to HACCP and ISO standards, then MOH licensed for sale here. The intention and the dose are built for this climate. The manufacturing is to Western standards.
What exactly is in it?

How do I take it?
Mix one sachet into 500 to 1,000ml of cold water, to taste. Up to 1 to 2 sachets a day depending on how much you sweat. On a hot or active day, before and after works well.
When should I skip it?
On cool, low-sweat days, plain water is probably fine. We would rather you skip ELT on the days you do not need it and reach for it on the days this heat earns it.
